EDX 1800B

Benchtop energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer in a down-looking design with a Si-PIN detector — reliable for RoHS, alloy, coating and precious-metal analysis.
- Down-looking design — measures samples of various shapes
- Si-PIN detector with a new-generation X-ray tube up to 50 W
- Motorized switching of collimators and filters for different modes
- Movable stage for precise positioning of the measurement point
- Applications: RoHS, alloys, coating thickness, precious metals
The EDX 1800B is a benchtop energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer built on the widely used EDX 1800 series, with a focus on reliability and a higher level of safety. A new-generation high-voltage power supply and X-ray tube improve operating stability, while the tube’s high power increases measurement throughput.
Applications
- RoHS analysis
- Geology and alloy composition (copper, stainless steels)
- Plating thickness measurement and plating-bath composition
- Precious metals and jewelry
What to ask about
The standard configuration includes a movable stage, a Si-PIN detector, a high-power X-ray tube and high/low-voltage power supplies. The down-looking design and motorized collimator and filter switching adapt the measurement to the sample shape and type. Contact us to match a configuration to your application.
The full technical specification and configuration will be provided in the datasheet PDF.
