The EDXThick800 is a new top-illumination multifunctional X-ray analyzer for automatic micro-area coating-thickness measurement. It performs thickness measurements on small and complex-shaped samples, while also enabling hazardous-element detection and light-element composition analysis. The instrument features an automated three-dimensional X/Y/Z movement system, dual laser positioning with a protection system and multi-point programming — making it widely useful in quality control and incoming-material inspection.
