WDX-4000

Skyray WDX-4000 sequential spectrometer

Sequential wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) spectrometer for precise elemental analysis from beryllium (Be) to uranium (U) — for geology, cement, metallurgy and environmental protection.

The WDX-4000 is China’s first commercialized sequential wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, developed by Skyray Instrument under a national scientific-instrument development programme. It detects elements across the periodic table from beryllium (Be‑4) to uranium (U‑92) and is used in geology, the cement industry, metallurgy and environmental protection. A largely universal design gives customers economical, convenient servicing.

Applications

  • Geology and mineral raw-material analysis
  • Cement industry — raw-material and clinker composition control
  • Metallurgy and steelmaking
  • Environmental protection and quality control
