WDX-4000

Sequential wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) spectrometer for precise elemental analysis from beryllium (Be) to uranium (U) — for geology, cement, metallurgy and environmental protection.
- Analysis of elements from Be(4) to U(92)
- Sequential design with a wide application range
- Innovative goniometer with a patented steel-belt drive
- Independent θ/2θ axes with servo drive and circular grating in a closed loop
- Angle repeatability to ±0.0002° and accuracy ±0.0006°
- Largely universal design that lowers service cost
The WDX-4000 is China’s first commercialized sequential wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, developed by Skyray Instrument under a national scientific-instrument development programme. It detects elements across the periodic table from beryllium (Be‑4) to uranium (U‑92) and is used in geology, the cement industry, metallurgy and environmental protection. A largely universal design gives customers economical, convenient servicing.
Applications
- Geology and mineral raw-material analysis
- Cement industry — raw-material and clinker composition control
- Metallurgy and steelmaking
- Environmental protection and quality control
What to ask about
An innovative goniometer with a patented steel-belt drive delivers stable, backlash-free rotary motion, while independent θ/2θ axes with a servo drive and a circular grating in a closed loop ensure high angular positioning precision.
