The QitVenture 1 is a new-generation portable gas chromatograph–mass spectrometer for on-site organic-pollutant analysis. It determines volatile (VOC) and semi-volatile (SVOC) organic compounds, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), toxic industrial materials (TIMs) and chemical warfare agents (CWAs). A built-in battery and carrier gas (with an external cylinder connectable) allow single-person operation, as well as vehicle- or ship-borne measurement — enabling fast response to sudden events that threaten health and the environment.
