EDX 600 PLUS

Down-looking energy-dispersive XRF coating thickness analyzer — no liquid nitrogen and no sample prep, for inspecting electroplated, electroless and hot-dip coatings.
- Down-looking design with one-button measurement for fast sample placement
- Works without liquid nitrogen and without sample preparation
- Micro-focus source and small collimators (down to 0.1 × 0.3 mm) for tiny spots
- Variable-focus camera with distance compensation for irregular surfaces
- Thickness and composition of multilayer and alloy coatings
- Metal-ion concentration in plating baths
The EDX 600 PLUS is a down-looking energy-dispersive XRF coating thickness analyzer developed by Skyray on years of XRF plating-measurement experience. The down-looking design makes measurement fast and convenient — no liquid nitrogen and no sample preparation. It precisely controls the composition and thickness of various coatings (electroplated, electroless, hot-dip) and the metal-ion concentration of plating baths, supporting cost accounting and quality control.
Applications
- Electroplating and precious-metal decorative coatings
- Hardware and sanitary ware, magnetic materials
- Electronics and electrical, automotive, telecom
- Photovoltaics, aerospace and new energy
What to ask about
The EDX 600 PLUS works with a set of collimators (e.g. 0.1 × 0.3 mm, 0.15 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.5 mm), so it can measure very small spots and complex multilayer coatings. A new optical path and a camera with a distance-correction algorithm enable measurement of irregular surfaces. Contact us to match a configuration to your coatings and part geometry.
