EDX 4500

Benchtop EDXRF spectrometer with a FAST-SDD detector and a smart vacuum system — for steel testing, full-element analysis and harmful-element detection (RoHS, halogens).
- Ultra-thin-window X-ray tube at an internationally advanced level
- Digital multichannel technology — count rate up to 100,000 CPS
- FAST-SDD detector with good linearity and energy resolution
- Smart vacuum system — efficient excitation of light elements (Si, P)
- Automatic switching of collimators and filters
- Applications: steel, full-element analysis, RoHS and halogens
The EDX 4500 is a benchtop energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer for steel testing, full-element analysis and harmful-element detection. An ultra-thin-window X-ray tube, digital multichannel technology with a count rate of up to 100,000 CPS and a FAST-SDD detector deliver high accuracy and a wide measurement range, with especially good results in alloy testing. A smart vacuum system removes the influence of air and significantly extends the range of measurable elements, including light ones (Si, P).
Applications
- Steel composition testing and metallurgical products
- Full-element analysis of materials
- Harmful-element detection (RoHS, halogens)
