EDX 3800

Versatile benchtop EDXRF spectrometer with an electrically cooled semiconductor detector and a high-power source — for RoHS, alloy, coating and precious-metal analysis, with an optional autosampler arm.
- High-performance, electrically cooled semiconductor detector
- High-power excitation source — lower detection limits for heavy elements (5–10×)
- Independent cooling channel maintains stability at high power
- All-in-one design and one-button measurement
- Safety: electronic interlock, mechanical lock and 3D shielding
- Optional 85-position autosampler arm for unattended operation
The EDX 3800 is a versatile energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer developed by Skyray on the basis of tens of thousands of installed EDXRF instruments. It combines an electrically cooled, high-performance semiconductor detector, low-loss near-field measurement optics, a high-power excitation source and a smart one-button measurement module. Compared with earlier models it achieves higher sensitivity, accuracy and throughput, and an optional fully automatic autosampler arm enables unattended operation.
Applications
- RoHS analysis and harmful-element detection
- Geology and alloy composition (copper, stainless steel)
- Coating-thickness measurement and plating-bath composition
- Gold, platinum, silver and jewelry
What to ask about
The instrument works in manual feeding mode or with an automatic four-axis industrial arm for 85 samples, which — thanks to a collision-stop function — can collaborate with people without guarding. An independent cooling channel keeps it stable at high power. Contact us to match a configuration and feeding mode.
The full technical specification and configuration will be provided in the datasheet PDF.
