EDX 3600

Energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer with a FAST-SDD detector and an optional vacuum system — accurate, non-destructive analysis of precious metals and light elements in jewelry.
- FAST-SDD detector with resolution down to 125 eV
- Optional vacuum chamber for light-element analysis
- Determination of Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Rh, Cu, Fe, Ni, Zn, Ir and more
- Compliant with the GB-1887 and GB/T-18043 standards
- Triple radiation-protection mode
- Independent matrix-correction models and multi-element software
The EDX 3600 is an energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer that inherits the hallmark traits of Skyray’s EDX series: accuracy, speed, non-destructive testing, clear results and safety. Its FAST-SDD detector accurately determines the content of gold, platinum, silver and other metals in jewelry, with results that meet the GB-1887 and GB/T-18043 standards for precious-metal purity testing.
Applications
- Composition analysis of gold, platinum and silver
- Inspection of jewelry, including light elements
- Buy-back and certification of precious metals
What to ask about
Compared with traditional instruments, the EDX 3600 offers an optional vacuum system that removes the influence of air and extends the range of measurable light elements. The FAST-SDD detector at up to 125 eV resolution helps distinguish iridium and gold in platinum, while collimators down to 0.2 mm enable measurement of tiny parts. Available software covers precious-metal, coating and hazardous-element analysis. Contact us to match a configuration.
