EDX 3300S

Portable wavelength-dispersive (WDXRF) sulfur-in-fuel analyzer — a 0.5 mg/kg detection limit, compliant with ASTM D7039 and road and marine fuel standards.
- Double-curved-crystal monochromator — selective excitation and low background
- Low detection limit of 0.5 mg/kg; RSD under 5% at 10 mg/kg
- Compliant with ASTM D7039, GB252-2015 and GB17411-2015 (marine fuel)
- Portable and light; no vacuum, no consumables and no sample prep
- Analysis time 30–900 s with single-use sample cups
The EDX 3300S is a high-performance, portable X-ray fluorescence sulfur analyzer. It uses a double-curved-crystal monochromator that focuses the tube’s characteristic radiation onto the sample and selectively excites light elements — lowering the background and the detection limit. The instrument meets ASTM D7039 and national standards for road and marine fuels.
Applications
- Petrochemicals, crude oil extraction and refining
- Sulfur control in road and marine fuels
- Production monitoring at refineries
What to ask about
Thanks to its unique optical-path design, the detection limit reaches 0.5 mg/kg, with repeatability under 5% RSD for low-sulfur samples (e.g. 10 mg/kg). The analyzer is portable and needs no vacuum, consumables or sample preparation — just place the sample in a single-use cup. Contact us to match a configuration to your needs.
