The EDX 3000PLUS is a Skyray energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer built for precise determination of precious metals — gold, silver, platinum and palladium. It uses a large-area 25 mm² FAST-SDD detector, which greatly improves collection of the sample’s characteristic X-rays. Results fully comply with the GB/T 18043-2000 standard.

What to ask about
Combining the FAST-SDD detector with a digital multichannel analyzer delivers a count rate up to 80,000 (5–10× more than a 6 mm² Si-PIN detector) and resolution down to 125 eV — useful, for example, for iridium and gold in platinum.
